its sunday

Sunday always seems like a lazy day to me. Regardless of where I am, just always need to sit around and do much of nothing on Sunday. Although I am Catholic, I do not attend church. I honestly do not know why. When I was a child, I attended Catholic school, where we went to church every day except on Saturday's. I have the entire mass memorized, yes I still do. I have not gone to church regularly in 25 years, but I still have mass memorized. If you are Catholic, you know why.

Got out of bed this morning, and saw what a beautiful day it is shaping up to be. Beautiful sky blue, with puffy white clouds floating around. Just gorgeous!

I plan on doing a few things today. First, I am going to switch rooms with my son Dalton. His room is much smaller, but I am tired of sharing a room with my 5 year old. I am going to put them in my larger room, and I am going to take the smaller one. Small sacrifice to have my bed to myself :)

I am currently cooking brunch for us. I like that word, I guess because you can have just about anything at brunch. You can have lunch food, or breakfast food, or both. I just want to go on record and say that Breakfast is the absolute best meal of the day, and bacon is king! We, however, are not having bacon, it costs way too much money anymore. We are having fried potatoes, eggs and toast. I might change that to biscuits and gravy though, with the eggs and potatoes. We shall see. later!

Well its Saturday again. It seems as though the weeks are flying by. I am sitting here, cant think of much to do today. This house is in such bad shape, Im overwhelmed at the possibilities. What comes to mind most of all is tearing it down and putting something else here. I always think, If I had the money, I would build a new house here, but of course, if I had the money, I would just move.

My son just brought me his walkie talkie's my mom gave him, but we could never get them to work. Today I got them working, and he is having a blast!

Its noon now, it was supposed to rain today, but I think the sun is out right now. Very nice, I would much rather see the sun than the clouds.

Its Derby time and I love this time of year. Lots going on in the city, but nothing much I want to do. Playing with my son Zachary seems the most fun at the moment. :) He is a very funny, smart 5 year old. So im off for now, will pick up later today if i remember. :)
