Well its Saturday again. It seems as though the weeks are flying by. I am sitting here, cant think of much to do today. This house is in such bad shape, Im overwhelmed at the possibilities. What comes to mind most of all is tearing it down and putting something else here. I always think, If I had the money, I would build a new house here, but of course, if I had the money, I would just move.

My son just brought me his walkie talkie's my mom gave him, but we could never get them to work. Today I got them working, and he is having a blast!

Its noon now, it was supposed to rain today, but I think the sun is out right now. Very nice, I would much rather see the sun than the clouds.

Its Derby time and I love this time of year. Lots going on in the city, but nothing much I want to do. Playing with my son Zachary seems the most fun at the moment. :) He is a very funny, smart 5 year old. So im off for now, will pick up later today if i remember. :)

  1. Went to Lowes, had to get a drip pan for my stove. I bought one a few months ago, but it was too big and I didnt feel like taking it back. So we made do with it and so now the new one is awesome, fits perfectly. I dont know about anyone else, but I just love going in home improvement stores like Lowes. I love the smell, AND I just love the idea of remodeling. At my age, I still havent owned my own first home yet, and going in there is a reminder. So good and bad, LOL.

After we got out of Lowes, we went to take Zach's movie back to the redbox, and remembered we didnt go to Walmart to find a pot rack. Soo, off to Walmart. I hate the one over here by my house, so we went to the one on New Cut Rd. They just have more stuff, and its nicer. If its a lazy day, I wander around Walmart and just check everything out. Thats kind of what we did in there today.

It was raining out pretty hard, when we were on our way to walmart. Lots of water on the road, made for fun times in the car throwing water everywhere. Zach absolutely loved it! I did get a few things needed for dinner this evening. We are having Chili, yum! Its a rainy day, and its getting ready to be a very stormy evening, so chili fits right in. My son Dalton loves chili, I would say its his favorite dinner. Dalton is my second to eldest son. He is 19 and will be 20 in July. He is a failure to launch and im trying to get him launched, LOL. He wants to go into the Navy and be a cook, but he has to get in shape first and well, with me working all day, its hard to keep an eye on him here and keep him working out. So its a very slow process.

We are home now, I have my chili going, and just check the radar. They are calling very severe storms, with strong damaging winds, hail and a tornado watch right now. Im excited and a little nervous. Not having a man in my life right now, its lonely, and scary sort of when storms come around.

A little background on me. Ive been married twice now. After my second divorce, I dated someone, who turned out to be similar to my second marriage, so I decided I should stay single for a while, see who I am, and what I want/need in another human being for the rest of my life. At first, celibacy seemed hard, but now I feel empowered, clear headed and I think when the time comes maybe this time it will last.

Well, I should go, Zach is in here asking me to help him find the headphones so he can play with his walkie talkies and the headphones.. lol. Anyway, I want to watch a bit of TV before dinner. Goodnight!
